Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Assist clients with hair styling consultations and recommend suitable services or products
- Perform basic hair styling services as needed, ensuring high standards of sanitation and safety
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and common areas in accordance with health regulations
- Upsell retail products by educating clients on benefits and usage to enhance their experience
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking in/out clients, and handling payments
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations
- Support team members in creating a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat business
Skills
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
- Knowledge of hair styling techniques and current trends (nice-to-have)
- Experience in retail sales or upselling strategies to promote products and services
- Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in a busy environment
- Front desk experience is advantageous for managing appointments and client inquiries
