Responsibilities:
- Follow and maintain compliance with Medallion Energy Services’ and customer safety policies and procedures.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Perform installation and maintenance of valves, tubing, switches, transmitters, control systems, and other instrumentation devices.
- Utilize appropriate electrical and instrumentation testing equipment.
- Read, interpret, and redline drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
- Complete required documentation including daily tickets, reports, and material requests.
- Work collaboratively with team members while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Mentor and support apprentices and other technicians by sharing trade knowledge and experience.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Instrumentation Technician or Electrician certification preferred.
- Apprentices of all levels are encouraged to apply.
- Industrial oil & gas experience is considered an asset.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexible work schedule with the ability to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Valid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, CSO, Fall Arrest, and Aerial Work Platform certifications required.
