Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building Cleaner to join our team at a strata property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the overall hygiene of the building facilities. This role is essential in providing a safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate. The position offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with a focus on quality service and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain common areas (lobby, hallways, elevators, stairwells)
- Sweep, mop, vacuum floors and carpets
- Clean glass, doors, and fixtures
- Manage garbage, recycling, and compost areas
- Report maintenance issues as needed
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience in strata/condo or commercial buildings an asset
- Ability to work independently and follow a schedule
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Must be punctual and trustworthy
