Part-Time Sales Associate – Women’s Lifestyle Boutique
We are a locally owned women’s lifestyle boutique in the Comox Valley offering a thoughtfully curated collection of clothing, footwear, jewelry, candles, and natural skincare/body care products. We are currently looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team part-time.
This position is ideal for a mature woman with a flexible schedule who enjoys connecting with people and creating a welcoming shopping experience. The regular shift is Mondays from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, with the opportunity to cover additional shifts as needed. This role could be a great fit for someone semi-retired looking for part-time work in a positive and supportive retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with customers
- Assist customers with styling, product selection, and gift ideas
- Maintain strong knowledge of boutique products and current trends
- Support daily sales goals and contribute to a positive team environment
- Process purchases using Shopify POS and iPad systems
- Help receive, organize, and display merchandise
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment
- Assist with opening/closing duties and general store upkeep
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Friendly, outgoing, and confident interacting with customers
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable using an iPad; Shopify experience is an asset but training will be provided
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently
- Interest in women’s fashion, accessories, and lifestyle products is considered an asset
