Montessori Certified Teacher ( PRE CASA & CASA)
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Certified Teacher who demonstrates deep respect for children and a strong commitment to Montessori philosophy. The ideal candidate brings patience, warmth, and intentionality to the classroom, using careful observation to support each child’s individual development. This educator is dedicated to nurturing independence, concentration, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning in every child.
The Teacher is responsible for guiding children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through Montessori principles and practices, while maintaining a prepared environment that supports purposeful, self-directed learning.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and maintain a developmentally appropriate Montessori environment that is orderly, engaging, and responsive to the individual needs of the children
- Observe, assess, and document each child’s development to inform lesson planning and individualized presentations
- Plan and present Montessori lessons using appropriate materials across all curriculum areas, including Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural Studies
- Support children’s independence, self-regulation, and concentration by allowing uninterrupted work cycles whenever possible
- Encourage problem-solving, responsibility, and self-care skills
- Model grace, courtesy, kindness, and respectful communication
- Identify, select, and adapt materials and lessons to meet the needs of children with diverse backgrounds, learning styles, and abilities, including those with special needs
- Follow Positive Behavior Guidance practices that align with Montessori philosophy and school policies
- Maintain consistent and open communication with families, including parent–teacher conferences and ongoing updates on children’s progress
- Build and sustain respectful, collaborative relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Participate in parent education events, school programs, and community activities
- Support children with toileting and self-care routines while maintaining dignity and respect
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and care of the classroom environment and Montessori materials
- Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and licensing regulations
- Maintain professionalism and model Montessori values at all times
- Welcome each child warmly and intentionally foster strong, trusting relationships
- Maintain Montessori certification and continue professional growth through ongoing education, training, and professional development opportunities
