Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate AZ licensed commercial trucks to transport freight over short and long distances
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and issues
Skills
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Experience in freight transportation and commercial driving operations
- Proficiency in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Ability to operate and manage freight securely during transit
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and trucking regulations
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing schedules or routes
Pay: $8,000.00-$13,000.00 per month
