Journeyman Pipefitter (Night Shift)
Our client is looking for a skilled Journeyman Pipefitter to join their steelworks team on the night shift. This company specializes in fabricating pressure piping, power piping, and structural steel, and they are expanding with a second shop to accommodate growing project demands.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications to determine layout requirements.
- Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems according to project plans.
- Cut openings for pipes in walls, floors, and ceilings using hand tools or machinery.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes as needed to fit specifications.
- Perform welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading to join pipes and sections.
- Test piping systems for leaks using specialized equipment.
- Monitor equipment, tools, and materials for hazards or potential safety issues.

Qualifications
- Journeyman Pipefitter certification from a recognized provincial training authority.
- 2+ years of experience in a fabrication or shop environment.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safe work procedures.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to complete WHMIS training as required.

Schedule:
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday
- 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM
- Overtime opportunities after 40 hours
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $46.00 per hour
