About the Role
Tri-Phase Group is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our growing team. Since 1997, we have provided environmental and construction services including demolition, hazardous materials abatement, storage tank removals, new construction, rebuilds, and renovations.
In this role, you will support project managers and estimators in coordinating environmental, remediation, demolition, and construction projects from estimation through completion. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working both in the office and on active job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist project managers and estimators with project coordination and estimating activities
- Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
- Review drawings and assist in gathering quantities for project pricing and tenders
- Coordinate environmental and construction work with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
- Produce project deliverables including work packages, reports, permits, and project documentation
- Prepare estimates and project billing under the direction of the estimator and project manager
- Source subcontractors and obtain pricing for tenders and project work
- Maintain and utilize project management software to track project progress and deliverables
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, and scope changes while providing regular status updates
- Interface with clients to ensure customer needs are met and project expectations are maintained
- Track, prepare, and submit change orders and scope changes to clients
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction coordination or a related field
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Valid Class G driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle required
- Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both in-office and on-site, with site coordination required approximately 50% of the time
- Experience with PlanSwift and Microsoft Project considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
