Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team. This role is integral to providing exceptional service to our clients by managing parts inventory, assisting with technical sales, and fostering strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will have a background in outside sales, business development, or account management, along with excellent communication and analysis skills. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, as it will enhance our ability to serve diverse customer needs. The Parts Advisor will play a key role in driving business growth through effective product knowledge, negotiation, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain parts inventory, ensuring accuracy and availability for customer needs
- Assist customers with technical sales inquiries, providing expert advice on product selection and application
- Develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship building with existing and potential clients
- Conduct negotiations to close sales effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Support business development initiatives by identifying market opportunities and promoting our parts offerings
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that increase product visibility and customer engagement
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities for growth, and areas for improvement
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or account management within a technical or industrial environment
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships
- Business development experience that demonstrates success in expanding market share
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing customer data and sales pipelines
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret market trends and customer needs
- Customer service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills in both English and Spanish (preferred)
- Knowledge of marketing strategies related to product promotion and client engagement
- Technical sales experience is highly desirable, especially involving industrial or automotive parts
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
