About the Role
Our Client is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated QA/QC Administrator to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical and administrative sides of quality assurance and quality control within the oil and gas industry. You'll play an important role in supporting their fabrication and field operations by ensuring quality documentation is accurate, inspections are completed, and project records are maintained to the highest standards.
Working closely with project managers, field crews, clients, and inspectors, you'll help ensure their projects meet client specifications, regulatory requirements, and Their Client's commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain QA/QC documentation throughout all stages of projects.
- Review material receiving documentation and verify compliance with project specifications.
- Assist with inspections of materials, fabrication, and field installations.
- Prepare, organize, and compile turnover packages and quality records.
- Review drawings, including P&IDs, isometrics, and structural drawings.
- Support inspection and test plans (ITPs), hydrotesting documentation, weld records, and NDE documentation.
- Verify compliance with applicable codes, standards, client specifications, and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and enter quality data into company systems.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, inspectors, and regulatory bodies as required.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives within the QA/QC program.
Qualifications
- Previous QA/QC experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of welded piping, structural steel, fabrication, and field installation is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with CWB, ABSA, CSA, ASME, inspection processes, weld procedures, hydrotesting, and NDE requirements is an asset.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and structural drawings.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam, Adobe, AutoCAD, Acorn, or similar software is an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence is preferred.
