Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, maintaining the bar area, serving food and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. Must be willing to work flexible hours and have decent and flexible availability. Weekends required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system, including handling cash and credit card payments.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations while serving drinks.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage presentation.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Experience in cashiering and handling cash transactions efficiently.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Effective time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment within the food industry or restaurant setting.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing and payment handling.
