We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities

- Complete line checks to ensure sufficient food is prepared and ready for service.
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Swiss Chalet standards.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet company specifications.
- Plate meals accurately and efficiently to create a positive guest experience.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Perform opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned.
- Follow food safety, health, and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist with food preparation, stocking, and dishwashing when needed.
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience is an asset.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Food Safety Certification or willingness to obtain certification
Experience
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, especially in a fast-paced food service setting
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with serving customers and understanding of the food industry standards is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong teamwork skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
