What You’ll Do
- Measure, cut, install, and repair damaged drywall
- Estimate the quantity of materials required by measuring surfaces, reviewing scopes, sketches and work orders
- Ceiling texture
- Tape, mud, sand, and texture surfaces
- Prepare and protect work sites
- Prepare surfaces and apply primers, paints, stains, or finishes
- Apply finishes that are sponged, ragged and layered
- Feathering/blending wall paint
- Stucco finishes/repairs
- Match colors and apply coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Install wall coverings
What You Bring
- 5+ years of drywall repair experience (boarding, cutting, mudding, sanding, taping)
- Experience with restoration repairs or renovations
- Experience with brush, roller, and spray-paint application to achieve high-quality finished results
- Finish carpentry experience is an asset.
- Construction experience and tool proficiency: you have your own tools for the job
- Texturing skills (knockdown, popcorn, orange peel)
- Physically fit: able to do heavy lifting (moving materials) and long periods of kneeling/bending/crouching/reaching
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively within a team
- Adaptable and flexible; able to shift between job sites and priorities as needed
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using mobile apps/software for documentation and communication
- Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to identifying and reporting site issues
- Self-motivated, quality-driven, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
- Receptive to feedback and able to take direction effectively
- Valid driver’s licence and clean criminal record (we do check)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken

Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on-call work is a requirement. Meaning you’ll work regular weekday hours and participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.

Experience:
- Drywall Repair: 5 years (preferred)
- Brush and Roller Painting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Canadian Driver's License (preferred)
