We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Restaurant General Manager to help lead our team and support the continued growth of our business. Position summary. This is a hands-on leadership role. We are looking for a manager who leads by example, not someone who simply supervises from the sidelines. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, build and develop a strong team, train employees, and work alongside the kitchen when needed to ensure smooth operations and consistent food quality. Key responsibilities include: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Lead, coach, and motivate both kitchen and front-of-house staff. Recruit, interview, hire, and train new employees. Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels. Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, food safety, and customer service. Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies. Work closely with the owner to improve systems, efficiency, and team performance. Training and transition. The successful candidate will receive2 to 3 months of hands-on training directly from the owner. This transition period will cover our recipes, systems, daily operations, and management expectations to ensure a smooth handover and long-term success. Qualifications. Previous restaurant management experience required. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience recruiting, training, and developing employees. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Legally authorized to work in Canada. Compensation and benefits. Salary 60,000 to 70,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Three-month probation period. Compensation during probation to be discussed during interview based on experience. Salary review upon successful completion of probation.
