Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Benefits Administrator to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance, and providing exceptional support to employees. This role requires strong data analysis skills, proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems, and excellent communication abilities to facilitate effective employee relations and benefits administration.
Responsibilities
- Manage and administer employee benefits programs using GroupHealth and ADP
- Collect and analyze data related to benefits enrollment, changes, and compliance using data collection tools and HRIS platforms.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits options, eligibility, and claims processing.
- Coordinate with external vendors and insurance providers to ensure accurate benefits offerings and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing education on benefits programs to employees.
- Assist with recruiting efforts by supporting onboarding processes related to benefits enrollment.
- Support employee relations initiatives by addressing concerns related to benefits and facilitating negotiations when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of employee benefits data within ADP
- Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure proper deductions and contributions are processed accurately.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting employee benefits.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with HRIS systems
- Familiarity with payroll systems including ADP or equivalent.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets for reporting purposes.
- Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with employees at all levels.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships and resolve benefit-related issues.
- Knowledge of human resources practices related to employee relations, recruiting, training & development.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Experience in administering employee benefits programs within a corporate environment is preferred. Pay: $52,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
