Job Summary
We are seeking Electricians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial electrical work and a strong understanding of electrical systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. The Electrician will work with a variety of tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and low voltage systems. 2nd-4th year apprentices and journeymen are all welcome to apply.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Ensure all installations meet local codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Ideally, experience as an Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage applications, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical installations.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
- Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.
