About The Role
Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic is seeking a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is essential in supporting our patients, enhancing the retail experience, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within our clinic store.
The successful candidate will bring strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience in retail, health services, kinesiology, or a related field is considered a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management & Sales
- Welcome and greet customers upon arrival.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive assistance to all customers.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge, including features, benefits, and value.
- Respond to customer questions, concerns, and unique needs.
- Support sales through cross-selling, upselling, and promoting current promotions.
- Process purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately.
- Address customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail environment.
- Assist with merchandising, restocking, and maintaining front-of-house displays.
- Receive, process, and organize incoming shipments and back-stock inventory.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere and support collective sales goals.
- Follow direction from the supervisor and communicate relevant updates as needed.
Operations Management
- Support operational processes to ensure efficient retail and administrative workflows.
- Maintain accuracy of invoices, receivables, payables, and other financial documentation.
- Ensure daily transactions are completed accurately and submitted to the central finance team.
- Assist with facility-related needs, including maintenance coordination and space management.
- Uphold health and safety, accessibility, and compliance standards within the clinic environment.
Administrative & Clinical Support
- Provide support to the Administrative Team as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Assist with registering patients, answering phone calls, and processing referrals.
- Escort and room patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience.
- Clean and prepare treatment rooms between appointments to maintain clinic standards.
- Support general administrative tasks and contribute to a collaborative clinic environment.
Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, kinesiology, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, ideally in retail or customer service.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with computers and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Highly personable, positive, and approachable demeanor.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service and client interaction.
