Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a strong focus on food safety and quality. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and presenting menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Plate dishes attractively and efficiently for service
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout the shift
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of shortages or expired items
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling procedures is advantageous
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meal preparation and food safety standards is highly desirable
- Familiarity with the food industry, including restaurant operations and customer service practices, will be beneficial
- Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and a passion for culinary excellence

Pay: $16.80 per hour
