Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure optimal building performance and safety. This role can evolve into moving into a Service or Install Technician role. Come join our growing team with locations in Cornwall and Brockville. Will hire for either location.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, boilers, and related mechanical equipment
- Diagnose issues related to HVAC units.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
- Provide amazing customer service
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all maintenance activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HVAC maintenance or mechanical repair roles
- Knowledge of furnaces, heat pumps, A/C.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
- Experience working with HVAC systems, boilers, and other building mechanical equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high safety standards
- G2 TSSA Gas ticket required
