OnSite Locates Inc., a wholly owed subsidiary of J.D. Barnes Limited based out of our Markham location, is looking for a Project Coordinator. Reporting to the Divisional Manager, this position is responsible for the coordination of field crews and CAD operators in a utility construction environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Overseeing activities associated with topographic surveys, engineering surveys, subsurface utility mapping/engineering, and construction layout/as-built projects (pipelines, gas distribution, sewers, waterlines, telecommunication lines etc)
- Preparation of job estimates and proposals
- Tracking job costs
- Invoice preparation
- Client consultations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Min. 3 year experience as a Project Coordinator in the utility industry
- A working knowledge of Global Positioning Systems (GPS) an asset
- Excellent communication skills for meeting and corresponding with clients
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be willing to travel across Ontario and Quebec for work assignments
- Ability to learn new field and office surveying technologies
Pay: $62,000.00-$83,000.00 per year
