Overview
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Truck & Trailer Mechanic Helper to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has some hands-on experience if 6 months to 1 year in truck and trailer maintenance and is eager to develop their mechanical skills in a fast-paced shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and routine maintenance on trucks and trailers
- Assist with inspections and diagnostic checks
- Replace wheel seals, brake components, and other mechanical parts
- Support lead mechanics in general mechanical repairs and servicing
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in truck/trailer or heavy equipment maintenance
- Basic mechanical knowledge and use of hand/power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
