We are a growing heating and cooling company serving homeowners throughout the Lower Mainland. Our team specializes in the installation of furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, water heaters, gas piping, and other residential HVAC systems.
We are looking for a motivated HVAC Installer Assistant to support our lead installers on residential installation projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to develop their skills, learn from experienced professionals, and build a long-term career in the HVAC industry.
What You'll Do
- Assist the lead installer with residential HVAC installations, including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, water heaters, and gas piping.
- Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for each installation.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
- Load, unload, and organize installation materials and company vehicles.
- Follow company installation standards, safety procedures, and applicable building codes.
- Provide courteous and professional service while working in customers' homes.
- Complete job-related documentation accurately and on time.
- Participate in ongoing training and continue developing your technical knowledge and installation skills.
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Registered HVAC/R or Gasfitting Class B Apprentice (preferred).
- Completion of Level 1 HVAC/R or Gasfitting Class B training is considered an asset.
- Previous experience assisting with residential HVAC installations is an asset.
- Knowledge of residential heating and cooling systems and installation practices.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and performing demanding installation work.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
