Part-Time and Full-Time Electrologist Positions
Location: BARE Skin — Trinity Bellwoods / Dundas & Ossington, Toronto
Employment type: Part-time and Full-time options subject to client demand
Schedule: Flexible, with evening and/or weekend availability preferred
Compensation: Hourly or commission-based, depending on experience
About BARE Skin
BARE Skin is a private electrolysis studio in Toronto focused on permanent hair removal in a calm, professional, and welcoming setting. We provide personalized, one-on-one treatments for clients of all skin tones, hair types, and treatment goals.
We are looking for a thoughtful, detail-oriented electrologist to join our growing practice part-time.
Role Overview
The Electrologist will provide safe, effective electrolysis treatments while creating a comfortable and respectful client experience. This person should be technically skilled, professional, warm, and committed to high standards of cleanliness, client care, and treatment documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide electrolysis treatments for new and returning clients
- Conduct consultations and explain treatment plans clearly
- Assess client goals, hair type, skin response, and treatment areas
- Follow all infection prevention and control standards
- Prepare, clean, and disinfect the treatment room between clients
- Use sterile probes and dispose of sharps safely
- Maintain accurate treatment notes after every appointment
- Provide clear aftercare instructions
- Recommend appropriate follow-up treatment timing
- Support client retention through excellent care and communication
- Maintain a professional, inclusive, and judgment-free environment
- Notify the owner of any client concerns, adverse reactions, or operational issues
Qualifications
- Certified or trained in electrolysis
- Experience providing electrolysis treatments preferred
- Strong understanding of infection prevention and safe treatment practices
- Comfortable treating a variety of areas, skin tones, and hair types
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and client-care skills
- Able to work independently in a private studio environment
- Evening and/or weekend availability preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience with blend, thermolysis, or galvanic modalities
- Experience working with clients with PCOS, hormonal hair growth, or gender-affirming hair removal goals
- Existing client base or local network in Toronto
