Our client, Theoden Construction Corp. is hiring for the position of a People & Culture Manager at the Head Office in Acheson, AB.
We're looking for someone who wants to help build an exceptional company through Human Resource strategic initiatives. As our organization continues to grow through expansion and integration, we're looking for an experienced People & Culture Manager who is excited to create structure, develop leaders, strengthen culture, and support employees through an exciting period of growth. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing Human Resource initiatives that support business growth, strengthen leadership capability, and create an exceptional employee experience. What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you'll work alongside our leadership team align people strategies with business objectives, positioning the company as an employer of choice. Some responsibilities will include:
· Developing HR strategies that support business growth and long-term workforce planning.
· Foster a culture built on accountability, empowerment, and respect.
· Analyzing data with useful HR metrics eg: when to hire and employee turnover rates, to make recommendations for process improvements based upon trends.
· Build scalable Human Resource programs, systems, and processes, ensuring consistent application.
· Coach leaders on performance management, employee relations, conflict resolution, and leadership development.
· Support investigations, accommodations, disability management, and return-to-work planning.
· Support leadership with the processing of resignations and terminations.
· Collaboration with Project Managers, monitoring attendance, vacation, performance and development Profile.
· Coordinate high volume recruitment strategies and lead the organization's recruitment strategy, including workforce planning, employer branding, succession planning, and attracting top talent.
· Continuously improve the onboarding experience to ensure new employees are engaged, productive, and connected from day one.
· Develop recognition programs and initiatives that strengthen organizational culture.
· Support compensation planning and benefits administration.
· Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and provincial employment legislation and HR best practices.

Qualifications
· 5 years+ progressive supervisory experience in Human Resources.
· 2 years+ of high-volume recruitment experience.
· CPHR or equivalent designation.
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.
· Strong understanding of Alberta employment legislation.
· Experience with Workhub is an asset.
· Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
· Experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial environments is an asset.
· Outstanding relationship management skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.
· Established planning, organization and time management skills.
· Strong supervisory skills with focus on conflict resolution and the ability to lead a team effectively.
· Proven critical thinking skills with the ability to learn quickly and exercise sound judgment.
· Background in change management is required.
· Knowledge of training development strategies to enhance workforce capabilities.
