Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Bartenders to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, providing exceptional customer service while creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, managing the bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Operate the POS system, including Toast POS, to process orders and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and offering recommendations.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol consumption.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling practices at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests at the bar.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and food service practices.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanour and positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential.
