Job Description
Trillium Measurement & Control is hiring an Instrumentation & Field Service Technician to support field operations across Ontario and Eastern Canada.
This role is primarily field-based and involves meter proving, calibration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of measurement and control systems in industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform meter proving and calibration of flow meters and measurement systems
- Conduct instrument installation, start-up, and commissioning
- Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Configure and program flow computers, transmitters, and related devices
- Prepare service reports, calibration documentation, and basic quotations
- Support deployment and operation of proving equipment and skid systems
- Travel to customer sites across Ontario and Eastern Canada (75%+)
- Follow all customer site procedures and safety requirements
- Adhere to Trillium’s ISO 9001 quality management system, including documentation and traceability requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements
- Technician diploma (Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical) or equivalent experience
- 1–3+ years of field service or industrial experience
- Working knowledge of instrumentation, electricity, and control systems
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with tools and test equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in field environments
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

- Outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Frequent travel with overnight stays
- Industrial environments (noise, dust, fumes)

Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
