Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a solid background in plumbing systems, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, ensuring the proper installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding, and basic math skills to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems according to project specifications and building codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete plumbing tasks
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for installation or repair projects
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing fixtures and systems to ensure optimal operation
- Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate work efforts
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues using schematics and technical manuals; identify root causes of problems
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations
- Assist in assembly of plumbing components and related systems for new construction or renovation projects
Experience
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role within construction or maintenance environments
- Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, including pipe fitting, fixture installation, and system troubleshooting
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and general maintenance practices is preferred
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and schematics related to plumbing and mechanical systems
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic math for measurements and calculations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex installations or repairs
- Experience working with construction teams on large-scale projects is highly desirable

Pay: $35.00-$60.00 per hour
