Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Counter Attendant to join our dynamic food service team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food items according to established standards and safety guidelines
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with food preparation when required
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns professionally
- Follow all sanitation procedures to ensure food handling safety standards are met
Skills
- Prior food service experience or restaurant background preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Food safety knowledge and sanitation practices essential for maintaining hygiene standards
- Experience in food preparation, serving, and upselling menu items beneficial
- Good time management skills to ensure timely order fulfillment during peak hours
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with the food industry is a plus

Pay: $15.35-$20.84 per hour
