Class 3 Driver & Moffett Operator (Delivery)

Delivery Truck Driver
As a Class 3 Delivery Truck Driver & Moffett Operator, your primary responsibility is to deliver product safely, efficiently, and on time while providing excellent customer service. Each day, you will plan your loads and routes based on scheduled deliveries and customer requirements.
At each delivery location, you will meet with the site contact, complete a hazard assessment, determine the safe offload strategy, and unload materials using a truck‑mounted forklift (Moffett) or other approved methods. Once deliveries are completed, you will return to the branch to reload and continue deliveries as efficiently as possible.
This role includes physical work and offers performance incentives based on footage delivered – move more, make more.
Other specific duties include:
- Safely operate a Class 3 tandem delivery truck
- Deliver materials to customer job sites and yards in a timely manner
- Operate a truck‑mounted forklift (Moffett) as required
- Complete basic load securement and unloading tasks
- Perform routine vehicle and equipment inspections
- Complete required delivery documentation
- Communicate delivery issues or delays to the branch
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicle and equipment
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 3 driver’s license with clean abstract
- Moffett (truck‑mounted forklift) experience or certification preferred
- Previous commercial delivery driving experience
- Ability to safely maneuver a tandem truck in tight job sites and customer yards
- Strong understanding of safe operating practices and health & safety procedures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills for interacting with customers, dispatch, and branch staff
- Physically capable of performing delivery‑related tasks
