Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify electrical issues and implement appropriate solutions
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and complete electrical projects within specified timeframes
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during all electrical work
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project
- Provide guidance and training to apprentices as needed
Qualifications:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license/certification required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyperson Electrician in a commercial or industrial setting
- Proficient in working with logic controllers, power tools, hand tools, and other electrical equipment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and team members
