Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Tube Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality metal components. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and proficiency with various manufacturing tools and techniques. The Laser Operator will play a critical role in ensuring precision, safety, and efficiency in our production processes.
Duties
- Set up and calibrate CNC laser cutting machines according to blueprints and specifications
- Operate laser equipment safely and efficiently to cut, engrave, or mark materials
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for accurate production
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser machinery to minimize downtime
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers and other hand tools to ensure parts meet specifications
- Adjust machine parameters based on material type and thickness for optimal results
- Support assembly processes by providing precision-cut components
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
Experience
- Past laser experience is advantageous, but in house training will also be available!
- Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machines or similar manufacturing equipment
- Knowledge of CNC programming, setup, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations in manufacturing contexts
- Experience with hand tools, tape measures, and quality inspection procedures is necessary
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance is highly desirable

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
