Being a tutor with Tutor Doctor is more than just part time work, you are connecting with something bigger.
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable local tutors to work with students to improve their abilities in all core subjects through in person (and some online) tutoring. We are searching for tutors to help students in Airdrie for at least 2 hours a week. We are seeking tutors who care about their student's progress and help them gain confidence in their abilities. You will not only be a tutor, you will be a mentor and develop positive relationships with parents and students.

Qualifications:
- 1+ Years University/College (preferred)
- Knowledge of the Alberta curriculum (preferred)
- Must live in Calgary, AB Canada at time of applying
- Fluent in English (other language abilities a plus)
Requirements:
- Availability: weeknights (4:00 - 9:00pm) and some weekends. You choose your own schedule.
- Must be fluent in English and excellent communication skills.
- Must complete criminal background check/vulnerability screening
- Familiar with the Alberta CBE curriculum
- Living in Airdrie or North Calgary

Tutoring Location - Airdrie (and potentially South Calgary)
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging in person tutoring sessions for students of various ages, ensuring a supportive learning environment.
- Develop personalized lesson plans that cater to individual student needs and learning styles.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance language skills.
- Utilize effective communication skills in both English and Spanish to facilitate understanding.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student achievements and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on educational resources and methodologies to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
