Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Client Servicing & Administration Manager, the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing a full range of administrative/dental laboratory support services. This will include scheduling patient appointments, updating and maintaining patient records, screening incoming calls and emails, checking in patients, and performing other administrative tasks as required for a dental laboratory environment. The employee will frequently interact with other administrative assistants, technicians, and other iCAD Dental staff.
Responsibilities:
- Offer exceptional telephone etiquette and customer service to our clients.
- Responsible for greeting and receiving patients for the technicians.
- Responsible for scheduling patients, answering phones, and keeping files and charts organized.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Responsible for cleaning the shade room.
- Providing clients with relevant information on the products and services offered by the company.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A diploma in Medical office administration would be an asset.
- Fluent in English (written, read, and spoken), French-speaking would be an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service position.
Experience:
- Dental Receptionist: 2 years (preferred)
Language:
License/Certification:
- Diploma in Medical office administration (an asset)
