Wine Room Attendant
Stonewall Estates is hiring experienced Wine Room Attendants. The purpose of this job is to provide tastings, serve food, educate about wine, sell wine, etc. while providing top guest experiences.
Main Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a seamless experience for guests
- Opening and closing duties
- Provide tasting experiences to guests in the wine room, patio, or other locations where service is available
- Provide food/drink service to guests in the wine room, patio, or other locations where service is available
- Sell wine to guests
- Educate guests on the grape growing, wine making, and other operations
- Promote wine club and other high value engagements to guests
- Participate in winery events
- Understand wine, food, and beverage menus
- Friendly and professional communication with all guests
Requirements
- Wine Room Attendant or equivalent experience: 2 years
- Smart Serve
- WSET L2 or equivalent experience
- Wine/cocktail knowledge
- Available to work days, evenings and/or weekends
Other
- High time (May- November)
- Low time (November – April)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
