Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Catering Server to join our team. Duties
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner, adhering to proper food handling and safety standards
- Set up catering venues with appropriate tableware, linens, and decorations as required
- Replenish supplies and ensure all serving stations are stocked throughout the event
- Engage with guests professionally, addressing their needs and inquiries to enhance their overall experience
- Clear tables promptly after service, ensuring the venue remains tidy and inviting
- Collaborate with event staff to coordinate service flow and address any unforeseen issues efficiently
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and guest interaction
Skills
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable
- Strong guest services and hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to serve efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Hotel or event experience can be beneficial but is not required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or special events as needed
