Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Controller to oversee financial operations and ensure accurate reporting within our organization.
The Controller plays a key leadership role in overseeing INTE Modular’s financial operations and supporting executive decision-making. This position is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and working capital management, internal controls, project costing, inventory oversight, and performance analysis.
The role requires a strong understanding of accounting, financial planning, operational finance, compliance, and business performance management. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and internal leadership team to provide strategic financial insight, strengthen financial discipline, and support the company’s growth, profitability, and long-term financial health.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership and Strategy
- Serve as the CEO’s key finance partner in supporting strategic planning, financial goal setting, and business performance monitoring.
- Contribute to the company’s financial strategy, including profitability improvement, cost control, capital planning, and sustainable growth.
- Provide financial insight and recommendations to support executive decision-making and operational priorities.
Financial Planning and Performance Management
- Lead the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasting, and financial target setting across the business.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators.
- Prepare variance analysis, dashboards, and management reports with actionable recommendations.
- Support financial planning initiatives that improve margin, efficiency, and overall company performance.
Financial Reporting and Internal Controls
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll oversight, and reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes and ensure reporting integrity.
- Establish, maintain, and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and reporting procedures.
- Ensure proper financial documentation, audit readiness, and compliance with company standards.
Treasury, Cash Flow, and Banking
- Oversee cash flow planning, working capital management, and short- and long-term liquidity needs.
- Monitor cash position, payment cycles, receivables, payables, and funding requirements.
- Support relationships with banks, external accountants, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.
- Assist the CEO with financing discussions, banking matters, and financial risk management as required.
Costing, Project Finance, and Operational Support
- Oversee project costing, inventory controls, procurement-related financial tracking, and cost allocation.
- Work closely with operations, procurement, and project teams to monitor job performance, major expenditures, and cost trends.
- Review contracts, purchasing commitments, and capital expenditures from a financial control and risk perspective.
- Support pricing, profitability analysis, and financial evaluation of projects and business opportunities.
Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead, guide, and support the finance and accounting function to ensure accuracy, accountability, and timely execution.
- Work closely with operations, procurement, HR, manufacturing, and leadership teams to align financial priorities with business needs.
- Promote a culture of financial discipline, continuous improvement, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, reporting processes, and overall finance function scalability.
Risk Management and Compliance
- Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with statutory remittances, tax filings, audits, and applicable financial regulations.
- Conduct ongoing reviews of controls, reporting practices, and financial risks as business needs evolve.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is required.
- CPA designation is required.
Experience
- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including senior-level financial leadership.
- Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and internal controls.
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, modular construction, or project-based environments is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supporting executive leadership with financial planning, analysis, and business performance monitoring.
- Experience with project costing, inventory controls, compliance, audits, and statutory reporting is required.
- Prior experience leading or overseeing a finance or accounting team is strongly preferred.

Working Relationships
The Controller works closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, as well as internal departments including operations, procurement, HR, manufacturing, and project leadership. The role also interacts with external accountants, auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies in support of INTE Modular’s financial management and reporting requirements.
