Bark Brigade Dog Training is seeking an experienced Dog Groomer to join our team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled groomer who wants flexibility, autonomy, and access to an established client base within a structured, professional environment.
We are a results-driven training facility with a strong reputation in Calgary, and we’re looking for a groomer who takes pride in their work and wants to operate at a high standard.
Role Overview
- Provide full-service grooming (bathing, brushing, clipping, nail trims, ear cleaning, etc.)
- Work independently while maintaining Bark Brigade’s professional standards
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding grooming needs and outcomes
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized grooming space
Compensation
- 60% commission on all grooming services
- Contractor position (you manage your own taxes and expenses)

What We’re Looking For
- Proven grooming experience (portfolio or prior work preferred)
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments confidently

- Professional, reliable, and self-sufficient
- Comfortable working in a training-focused environment (dogs may be in structured programs)
