We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team at Spirit Halloween. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
- Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
- Provide product demonstrations and technical sales support as needed.
- Upsell products and services to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing checkout area through effective merchandising.
- Address customer inquiries with professionalism and provide solutions to any issues that arise.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling and customer service standards.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on communication and phone etiquette.
- Proficiency in basic math for accurate transaction processing.
- Experience in retail sales, technology sales, or cashiering preferred.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Excellent time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace.
