Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Subprime Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, dealership operations, and customer relations. This role involves managing subprime auto finance programs, developing strategic lending solutions, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The Subprime Finance Manager will play a critical role in driving sales growth while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Responsibilities
- Oversee the subprime finance department, ensuring efficient processing of loan applications and approvals
- Develop and implement financing strategies tailored to subprime customers to maximize sales and profitability
- Build and maintain relationships with lenders, credit agencies, and other financial institutions
- Negotiate loan terms and conditions with customers to achieve mutually beneficial agreements
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to auto financing
- Provide exceptional customer service by guiding clients through the financing process and addressing their concerns
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify financing opportunities and support vehicle sales initiatives
- Analyze credit data and financial statements to assess risk and determine appropriate lending options
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in finance procedures, negotiation techniques, and customer engagement
Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial services, preferably within the automotive dealership industry
- Dealership experience is highly preferred
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships
- Solid understanding of sales processes and techniques in a retail environment
- Proficiency in math and financial analysis to evaluate creditworthiness accurately
- Knowledge of industry regulations governing auto financing and lending practices
- Ability to lead a team, motivate staff, and foster a collaborative work environment

Pay: $59,069.09-$173,927.26 per year
