IT Administrator
Minimum Qualifications

Preferably a degree in computer science or related field OR working towards one

Former experience in network management.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with (willing to train):
-
Configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting network switches and LAN related issues. Ubiquity Unifi experience will be an asset.

Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, Chromebooks as well as setup, configuration and imaging of new devices.

Defining, configuring and troubleshooting network printers.
-
Network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS and DHCP, NAT.
-
Creating users and groups in active directory and managing groups.
-
Management of Google workspace for Education and Google integration with Active directory and synchronization.
-
Windows 10 & Windows 11 operating systems.
-
Multimedia projector maintenance and troubleshooting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
-
Provide technical assistance to school staff as required.

Identify problems and areas of improvement and suggest solutions to management.

negotiate and work with vendors for hardware and software procurement.
-
Recommend and execute IT related projects as per the school need
