Job Overview:
As a Warehouse Associate/Inventory Specialist for our Internet Service Provider, you will be the operational backbone of our logistics team, ensuring critical networking hardware, customer equipment, and installation materials are accurately tracked, stored, and distributed.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management & Control:
- Perform daily cycle counts and periodic full physical inventories of telecommunications equipment, including modems, routers, switches, cables, and accessories.
- Monitor stock levels and generate low-stock alerts to prevent shortages for installers and service technicians.
Order Fulfillment & Distribution:
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for daily dispatch to field technicians and customers.
- Prioritize urgent and same-day service orders to minimize downtime and meet service-level agreements.
Team Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with procurement, field operations, and customer service teams to coordinate stock movements and resolve issues.
- Assist in training new warehouse staff on inventory procedures and system usage.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing.
Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Pay: $21.84-$25.76 per hour
