Join our growing team as a Senior Operations Supervisor and take a hands-on leadership role in driving warehouse performance, employee engagement, and operational excellence. This position requires a strong presence on the warehouse floor, managing workflow, assigning work, supporting day, afternoon, and night operations, and providing leadership across both our Mississauga and Etobicoke facility.
Your primary responsibility would be to lead and oversee daily warehouse operations by managing workflow, assigning work, and ensuring operational, safety, quality, and customer service objectives are achieved. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strong presence on the warehouse floor, providing direction and support to teams across multiple shifts and sites.
Operations
Direct, coordinate, and monitor daily operational activities to ensure productivity, efficiency, service quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
Ensure the application of methods, systems, and procedures to manage human resources, financial and material resources in a productive and profitable way in compliance with laws, regulations, and corporative procedures.
Ensure respect for policies, procedures, standards, and regulations in force in warehouses (OHS, BRCGS standards, HACCP, etc.).
Work Management
Plan, organize, direct, and control all operations to achieve the objectives specific to the warehouse.
Provide leadership and oversight for employees working across multiple shifts, including days, afternoons, nights, and weekends.
Coach, mentor, and develop leads, and warehouse employees through direct observation and interaction on the floor.
Ensure the maintenance and development of work teams applying human resources processes, such as staffing, integration and transfer of employees, skills development, performance management, labor relations and health and safety.
Support the Operations Leader in Information System Management, Budgeting, Sales, Customer Service and Equipment and Building Maintenanace.
Various
As part of its functions, participate and collaborate closely with local, professional, civic and commercial associations.
TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
SKILLS REQUIRED
Knowledge of procedures, quality standards, laws, and regulations such as OHS, BRCGS standards, HACCP, etc. is essential.
REQUIREMENTS FOR HIRING
Must be able to work a flexible schedule and provide leadership support across day, afternoon, night, and weekend shifts based on operational requirements.
