We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Showroom Sales Executive to join our team. This role involves engaging with clients, demonstrating products, and providing exceptional service to drive high-end sales. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, sales experience, and a passion for interior design, renovation, or construction. Multilingual abilities and proficiency with design tools like SketchUp or CAD are considered advantageous. Responsibilities
- Greet customers professionally and assist them in selecting products suited to their renovation or construction needs
- Conduct product demos, including high-end furnishings, fixtures, or materials, highlighting features and benefits
- Manage customer accounts through effective account management strategies and upselling techniques
- Utilize POS systems for transactions, cash handling, and merchandising purposes
- Engage in inside sales activities, including follow-up calls and personalized consultations to close sales
- Coordinate with clients on project specifications using tools such as SketchUp or CAD when necessary
- Assist with merchandising displays to enhance product visibility and appeal within the showroom
- Provide expert advice on renovation or construction projects, leveraging industry knowledge and experience
- Negotiate sales terms with customers to ensure mutual satisfaction while meeting sales targets
- Support marketing initiatives by promoting new products and special offers to visitors
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions, sales activities, and inventory levels
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales, inside sales, or high-end product selling
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in English; multilingual skills are a plus
- Familiarity with SketchUp, CAD software, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of renovation or construction processes; experience in remodeling or related industries is advantageous
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Effective organizational skills to manage multiple clients and product displays efficiently
- Ability to conduct product demos confidently and upsell effectively during customer interactions
- Basic math skills for transaction processing and account management
- Experience with merchandising strategies to optimize showroom presentation
