Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in commercial driving and possess a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a loaded truck to transport goods over short or long distances
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform routine maintenance on the truck as needed
- Communicate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
Experience:
- Proven experience as a truck driver
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
- Ability to drive regularly
- Experience with freight handling is a plus
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, forklifts, automotive repair, or related skills is advantageous
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license - Any other licenses is a bonus!
- Clean driving record a must.
- Ability to pass a background check.
