Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assess their vehicle service needs with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Explain repair estimates clearly, ensuring customers understand the scope of work and options available
- Coordinate with mechanics to schedule repairs and communicate updates to customers throughout the service process
- Upsell additional services or maintenance based on mechanical knowledge and customer needs to maximize dealership revenue
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including payments for services rendered and parts purchased
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service orders, and vehicle histories for seamless follow-up
- Foster strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring their satisfaction
Experience
- Dealership experience is highly preferred, providing familiarity with automotive sales and service processes
- Mechanical experience or mechanical knowledge is essential to confidently discuss repairs and maintenance options
- Proven customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Sales experience, including upselling techniques that enhance customer value while increasing dealership revenue
- Experience in automotive repair environments or working alongside mechanics is a strong advantage
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of CDK, automotive parts, repair procedures, and dealership operations will set candidates apart
