Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our busy restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, supporting food preparation, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly
- Support food service staff with serving meals and replenishing supplies during service hours
- Ensure all work areas are sanitized and organized to meet health regulations
- Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and kitchen operations
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive tasks effectively
