Dispatcher Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule transportation services for shipments
- Use phone systems to communicate with drivers and customers to ensure timely delivery of shipments
- Monitor shipping and receiving activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Perform data entry tasks to update shipment information in the system
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field preferred
- Knowledge of fleet management and maintenance procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with drivers, customers
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
