Job Description:
Nella is currently looking for a full-time commercial sales representative who will be based in Vancouver (BC) Location. The commercial sales representative focuses on new, Business to business account development and account management within the Greater Vancouver Area.
The Commercial Sales Representative will be responsible for managing accounts to maintain our current service revenue streams as well as for generating new forms of revenue. In particular, you will be responsible for focusing on new, business to business (B2B) account development and management in the Greater Vancouver Area.
The ideal candidate is a highly driven, results-oriented individual who is experienced in sales and has an extensive knowledge/understanding of the hospitality industry. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply!
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relations
· Identify, prospect, and generate leads through cold-calling, networking, and in-person visits to establish new accounts in order to drive sales and achieve specific goals
· Manage and maintain accounts by providing timely and effective customer service and support
· Stay up to date regarding the products and services Nella offers to effectively promote and sell to our clients
· Educate potential customers on Nella Cutlery products and the benefits of using our services
· Assist in day-to-day sales support at our showroom
· Attend regional tradeshows and/or other promotional events
· Develop and conduct sales presentation to close new opportunities with clients
· Communicate growth strategies to management
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Experience in a leading foodservice role – either front of house, or back of houses (F&B/GM/Chef)
· An in-depth knowledge of the hospitality and/or food service industry (required)
· Degree/Diploma in business or a related field is an asset
· Possess an entrepreneurial drive, a willingness to learn and is results-oriented
· Demonstrates strong communication (both verbal and written) and negotiation skills
· Exhibits strong time management, multitasking and prioritization skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills would be considered an asset.
· Some travel required – Must possess BC Full Driver’s License and have access to a car
