Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pizza Maker to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and other food items, ensuring excellent food presentation, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook pizzas using various methods, ensuring proper temperature and presentation
- Assist in food preparation for other menu items as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Serve customers efficiently, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health regulations and safety standards
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred
- Restaurant or kitchen experience within the food industry is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations is essential
- Experience with meal preparation and serving in a fast-paced environment will be advantageous
- Familiarity with pizza making techniques and ingredients is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
