RJR Construction is looking to hire a full-time journeyman carpenter and add to its skilled group of workers. RJR Construction has concentrated its efforts on renovations and custom homes over the last 44 years with quality, honesty, and high standards.
Job Description:
Experienced highly skilled journeyman carpenter, 2-3 years min experience, required by renovation company for small to large renovation projects and new home builds. Must have a full understanding of residential structural components and overall construction knowledge including experience in forming, framing, exterior and interior finishing.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be honest, trustworthy, reliable, accountable, and respectful.
Required to have own hand and power tools except for air tools.
Must possess a valid driver’s license as well as a reliable vehicle for transportation.
Must be willing to travel to projects located across Greater Vancouver.
Renovation or new build experience.
Strong safety mindset.
Highly organized, collaborative, passionate, detail oriented and a great team player.
Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
